As your Ward 4 Town Councillor since 2018, Peter has built deep roots in our community, attending local events, advocating at Town Hall, and staying accessible to every resident in Ward 4. Peter is committed to his relationship with the residents of Ward 4 and values the connections made with our community members over the past 9 years. Peter is committed to addressing the priority issues for our community and protecting our quality of life by managing urban growth, ensuring transportation and facilities keep up to demands and our greenspace is protected.
30+ Years of Business Experience
Peter is an accomplished Supply Chain Executive with 30+ years of business experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and telecommunications industries in both the public and private sectors. In addition, he has driven value as an outsourcing partner for public service, financial services and oil and gas industries. Peter has experience in establishing robust performance management systems to systematically drive sustainable value chain improvement. Peter is the Chief Operating Officer at Mohawk MedBuy, a national not-for-profit organization supporting hospitals and healthcare providers to drive value, efficiencies and cost savings for medical supplies and services. Previously, Peter led Supply Chain for Unity Health Toronto comprised of Providence, St. Joseph Health Center, and St. Michael's Hospital Network in downtown Toronto. He has held executive level Supply Chain roles in such companies as Bell Canada, GlaxoSmithKline, LifeLabs (formerly MDS Diagnostics) and Brookfield Johnson Controls (now Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions).
Educated and Passionate about Environmental and Urban Planning
Peter has a Masters of Environmental Studies, Environmental and Urban Planning. Peter's passion and academic foundation in environmental and urban planning gives him the expertise to make evidence-based decisions that protect Oakville's natural assets. He put his education and experience to use as the past chair of the Halton Region Natural Heritage Committee and the Halton Region Ecological and Environmental Advisory Committee.
Investing in our Youth
Peter also has a passion for playing and coaching sports. He coached 46 teams over 12 years with the Oakville Soccer Club, and has been honoured as “Coach of the Year” for his work.
